As we enter a new year it is always a time of resolutions and looking forward to the brand new blank slate that lies ahead of us – but it is equally as important to reflect back on all of the amazing experiences and achievements of Dancefloor DJs and Events in the past year.

2016 was an extremely busy year for us and brought us new opportunities to work with both new and existing clients and venues. We would like to begin by thanking all our past clients of 2016 and hope we managed to create the bespoke service you were looking for, for your event and would be delighted to work with you again in the future.

We are proud to be a recommended wedding DJ supplier at Mythe Barn Wedding Venue, as well as for the 2nd year running a Christmas residency at Hothorpe Hall and the Woodlands. We are now also a recommend supplier at Kelmarsh Hall based in Northamptonshire. The strong underlying relationship between Dancefloor DJs & Events and these venues is invaluable in creating a seamless presence at your special day and we look forward to continuing to build on these relationships through future events at these venues next year.

Dancefloor DJs & Events was kept busy in this past year with approximately 100 wedding receptions and an additional 10 corporate bookings. Across these bookings, we managed to showcase all of our services including DJs, Dancefloors, Venue Uplighting, Confetti Cannons, LED LOVE letters and a White Wedding post box.

So looking ahead to what 2017 has in store for Dancefloor DJs and Events we are delighted to enter the new year with over 60 confirmed wedding bookings so far and many new enquiries. We are continuing to expand the business this year in a number of dimensions through additional services with our sister company MAP Productions such as:

• AV & Conference support
• Lighting Design service
• Sound and lighting Hire
• Adding new DJ’s to the team
• Adding New hire items for weddings

January is steady for us, allowing time to catch up on all the new enquiries and leads from over the Christmas period. We are also looking forward this month to exhibiting at the Mythe Barn tasting event and wedding showcase at Hothorpe Hall & The Woodlands where we love the opportunity to speak to all of the venues booked brides for the coming months and showcase how we can accentuate the venues beautiful natural features in particular with our uplighting packages in addition to DJ services.
